About ClickMath and Founder Dan Neaton
ClickMath's founder, Dan Neaton, an experienced classroom math teacher in Michigan, observed his students' continuous struggles with learning math the traditional way. Year in and year out, Dan saw wide divergence in retention ability, varying cognitive challenges, neurodivergence and the entire gamut of learning styles that did not fit well with the teaching methods in use.
In response to the standardized testing goals, larger classroom sizes and the student learning challenges, Dan set out to create a more personal and customized approach to learning math.
Dan's goal was to develop a way to know each student's learning style and his/her subsequent learning challenges, in order to create a program that would lead to success for every student and make sure that no student was left behind.
In pilot testing programs in Flint and Ann Arbor, Michigan, ClickMath (formerly Number DNA) has demonstrated tremendous results in bringing improved learning power to students and teachers. The schools in the pilot programs showed an average 82% mastery rate across all grades, using ClickMath. Dan and his co-founder, Edward Kulka, continue to improve ClickMath to achieve greater math mastery and instill a love of math in all students throughout the United States.
